Pumpkin Season! check out my delicious pumpkin recipe

Autumn has finally arrived and so have the pumpkins, yummy and delicious. So many recipes out there I think I got quite confused so I decided to put my own together. The result was fantastic. The quantities are up to you.

Ingredients
Pumpkin cut into small peices
Flour, just enough to coat the pumpkin peices
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup low fat plain yogurt
mint
grated regato cheese
salt
olive oil
3 tablespoons fresh milk

Mix all the ingredients. Then pour into pan. Smooth out the surface with the back side of a spoon and sprinkle top with more grated cheese and grated dry bread crumb

Every year on Christmas we always put up the usual fake christmas trees but this year calls for a real fir tree planted in a pot. I love to bring nature in my house this year. And the good thing is that it can become a great plant decoration for your home afterwards!

HOMEADE CROISSANTS WITH PEANUT BUTTER

(makes 2-4 servings)

INGREDIENTS

2 sheets of pastry dough
1 egg yolk for coating

For filling
70 grams of peanut butter
80 grams chocolate drops

For decorating
crushed almonds
powdered sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut the pastry into triangles 14 cm X 16 cm. Spread 1 teaspoon peanut butter along with a few drops of chocolate and fold the pastries like croissants.

Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with crushed almonds. Bake for 20 minutes (depending on your oven) at 180 degrees (160 with air).
When cool, sprinkle the croissants with powdered sugar.
